DESCRIPTION:Join Equal Ground Education Fund\, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity\, Inc.®\, Delta Xi Lambda Chapter\, and the Central Florida Urban League for a Get Out the Vote Day of Action in District 5 Orlando this Sunday\, November 2\, from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM EST. \nWith Election Day less than a week away (Tuesday\, November 4)\, we’re mobilizing to ensure every voter is informed\, ready\, and empowered to cast their ballot. Volunteers will have the option to canvass door-to-door or phonebank to reach voters across the district. \nHere is the link to register: https://www.mobilize.us/equalground/event/864375/  \nOur outreach will focus on: \n\nReminding voters that Election Day is Tuesday.\nConfirming polling locations.\nSharing key voting information.\nAnswering questions or concerns about the voting process.\n\nThis is a nonpartisan effort open to all who want to strengthen civic participation in our community. DESCRIPTION:Meetings \n\nThe Ronald Blocker Educational Leadership Center (RBELC) will not open to the public until thirty (30) minutes prior to the starting time of the meeting.\nThe public shall enter the RBELC from the Amelia Street entrance only and will be required to pass through the metal detectors. OCPS staff will be present to direct the public.\nMembers of the public who wish to speak during the Open Public Comment Period (for items not on an agenda) or Agenda Public Comment Period (for items on an agenda during a Regular School Board Meeting\, Public Hearing\, or Rule Development Workshop) shall follow the procedures set forth under the “Who Can Speak” tab below. See Board Policy BEDH – Pilot Program for Public Comment.\nMembers of School Board Services will be in the lobby to distribute blue Speaker Requests (for the Open Public Comment Period) and yellow Speaker Requests (for the Agenda Public Comment Period).
