On Friday, March 14th, lawmakers voted to support harmful budget cuts that threaten the well-being of millions of Americans. Programs like Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and veterans’ benefits—lifelines for our seniors, families, and those who served our country—are now at risk.
We cannot afford to stand by. Now is the time to organize, mobilize, and demand action.
Join the NAACP Community Call to Action on Monday, March 24th, from 7:00 – 8:30 PM ET to learn what’s at stake, hear from key leaders, and take strategic action to fight back against these devastating cuts
Join the NAACP for an urgent community call to action as we break down the federal budget and tax policies that will shape the future of our communities. With major decisions being made in Washington, we’ll discuss what’s at stake, including funding for healthcare, education, economic security, and environmental justice. This session will feature policy experts who will provide insights on proposed budget cuts and tax changes, their impact on social safety nets, and the role of advocacy in protecting vital programs like Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP, and Social Security.
