Harry T. and Harriette V. Moore Memorial Luncheon
The West Volusia Branch NAACP and the African American Association of Deltona continue to honor Harry T. & Harriette V. Moore on the 3rd Saturday in December, as noted in the Florida House Resolution and Florida Senate Resolution.
The theme for this event: Courage in the Face of Danger
Guest Speaker: William Cullen McCormick, Jr.
The Ballad of Harry T Moore by Langston Hughes will be recited by Elijah Whitaker.
The Chisholm Legacy Choir of New Smyrna will be performing a selection of uplifting songs at the Moore Luncheon.
